Mudra is the name of the Shastadari currency; the name itself comes from Sanskrit मुद्रा ‹mudrā› /mud̪.ɾɑː/ [moo-DRAH], meaning “coin”; it’s symbol is ₷, unicode U+20B7, a monogram of the letters S and m conjoined, for “Sezimal money”;
Mudra have the familiar pattern from decimal currency of using the factors of the base, in this case 1, 2 and 3, the factors of 10, and use those as the basis for the bills and coins combinations:
₷ 1000 ― ₷ 100 ― ₷ 10 ― ₷ 1 ― ₷ 01
₷ 200 ― ₷ 20 ― ₷ 2 ― ₷ 02
₷ 300 ― ₷ 30 ― ₷ 3 ― ₷ 03
Bills are proposed to be 10 × 3 pad (155.552 × 77.776 mm, 6 1⁄8 × 3 1⁄16 in) and coins are 1 pad in diameter (25.925 mm, 1 1⁄64 in);
Each mudra represents as currency a certain amount of time worked:
₷ 1000 (arda mudra) represents an entire day, 1000 day;
usually only people working as doctors, nurses, paramedics,
firefighters and such work continously for such a long period, a full day;
in regular time it represents twenty-four hours;
₷ 100 nif mudra, ₷ 200 two nif mudra and ₷ 300 three nif mudra represent
01 (1⁄10), 02 (1⁄3) and 03 (1⁄2) days respectively, 1000, 2000, 3000,
or, in regular time, four, eight and twelve hours;
most people work daily for one of those time spans, so earn daily ₷ 100, ₷ 200 or ₷ 300 accordingly;
if our calendar would have 10 days a week, with 2 days for rest and 4 working days, a person working for 2000 a day would make ₷ 1200 (arda two nif mudra) a week; using seven days per week, usually with 5 work days, this would give ₷ 1400 (arda four nif mudra) weekly;
₷ 10 six mudra, ₷ 20 dozen mudra and ₷ 30 thirsy mudra represent
001 (1⁄100), 002 (1⁄30) and 003 (1⁄20) days respectively, 0100, 0200, 0300,
or, in regular time, forty minutes, one hours and twenty minutes, and two hours;
₷ 1 one mudra, ₷ 2 two mudra and ₷ 3 three mudra represent
0001 (1⁄1000), 0002 (1⁄300) and 0003 (1⁄200) days respectively, 0010, 0020, 0030,
or, in regular time, about six minutes, about thirteen minutes, and exactly twenty minutes;
₷ 01 one ekatimudra, ₷ 02 two ekatimudra and ₷ 03 three ekatimudra represent
00001 (1⁄10000), 00002 (1⁄3000) and 00003 (1⁄2000) days respectively, 0001, 0002, 0003,
or, in regular time, about one, two and three minutes respectively;
This system of currency, by measuring only time worked, would make earnings more fair and equal, since what one worker would be able to earn would be limited by the amount of time each one is capable of working, which is limited equally for everyone;
